Despatch
Timely delivery of promised items is essential to ensure customer satisfaction and build your online reputation. If you cannot control this all the time, your business will suffer. e-trackit avoids these problems.
Order information from all channels is automatically captured by e-trackit and transferred to your office or warehouse Server/PCs. If stock is drawn from shops for online sales, your staff are immediately informed of the sale so that the goods can be taken off the shop floor.
Because delivery information is all converted to the same format, your staff will quickly become familiar with the system.
Dispatch is handled by the e-trackit Sales Order Processing routine (SOP). Orders are viewed, and pick lists can be raised manually or automatically. Once pick has been confirmed, the order is marked as dispatched with invoice/delivery notes printed and the corresponding e-commerce shopping channel updated.
Easily produced reports can highlight any dispatch or stock issues for you to address quickly.
Delivery management
Further automation of dispatch may be required if your volumes are increasing. We work with our partner – Metapack – to provide an integral solution.
MetaPack software ensures that the right carrier service is used to deliver the right product to the right place at the right time. It can be integrated seamlessly with the Sales Order Processing module of e-trackit.
Information is passed between the two programs with minimal manual intervention, allocating goods to a carrier automatically by pre-defined criteria. Order number barcodes can now included as part of the pick note and with one simple scan the label is produced without the need to copy and paste details.
Tracking parcels across multiple carriers is now easier. With all tracking information now available through one interface, email notifications can be sent through to the customer with a link to the relevant carrier’s website.
First shipments of this e-trackit software module will be in the second quarter of 2012, but the planning of your installation can commence well before this.
