Retail Stock ControlThis is where the e-Trackit stock control system gives the retailer the tools to make significant cuts in stock levels, improve supplier margins, and reduce shrinkage to an absolute minimum. The hub of the retail stock control system is the stockcard. This is used to create stock records, from simple description and costs through to pictures and marketing information for web site and other shopping channels such as Ebay and Amazon. The layout of the stockcard is tailored to your requirements, providing a simple and quick routine to enter stock related details. If required, facilities also exist to pick up product information from supplier spreadsheets through an import routine. Deliveries are directly entered into the stockcard, with a full audit trail of quantities and dates or through the Purchasing module. Output from any “delivery” routine can automatically produce bar coded labels or tickets, or you can use the supplier’s own bar code as required. Stock adjustments, transfers between shops, and returns to suppliers are similarly provided. Stock checks and full stock takes are quick to undertake, and you can use use portable scanners, giving you full control of the stock in the shop, saving many hours of staff time. For those retailers who regularly order stock from suppliers, the e-Trackit Purchase Orders routine is very quick to use, with all information available to make decisions, such as ealier sales history, current stock levels and any back order details. The stockcard can hold optimum stock levels, and the Purchase Orders routine then compares these levels against current stock, producing a suggested order which can be modified as necessary. Special customer orders can also be included, input at the till or through the Sales Order Processing routine, giving flexibility in ordering details and a full audit of the Special Order as it goes through the system from initial order to customer collection. Portable data capture terminals can be used to both determine order quantities and check deliveries into stock. For retailers who order on a seasonal basis, such as clothing and footwear, the e-Trackit Forward Orders routine controls the entry of the initial order, also providing reports on spend and “mix” of garments. When the goods are delivered, a very quick process books them in, part deliveries being catered for, and tickets produced for attaching to the garments as required. Reports of outstanding deliveries are available to chase up suppliers during the season. |
