Point of Sale (POS)

For “bricks and mortar” retailers, Point of Sale is where it all happens!

Every shop must have some way to provide a receipt for goods or services sold, be it handwritten, a cash register receipt or an itemised receipt produced by an Epos system.

Many more retailers are realising that stock and sales information to help with restocking and the buying process is fundamental to the successful running of a retail store.

e-Trackit has been providing Point of Sale software and hardware to the retail market for 15 years and continuing development has achieved immence flexibility and versatility of the software which makes it a dominant player in the POS independent retail market.

The e-Trackit till equipment uses the latest “Touch Screen” technology bringing simple and easy operation when recording a sale.

The till can be either a fully integrated 15 inch flat screen PC or split between a touch monitor and a small footprint PC.

Together with the EPOS till is a package of peripherals – scanner, mini keyboard, cash drawer, receipt printer and optional chip and pin keypads and smart card readers.

The e-Trackit Integrated Point of Sale PC runs on Microsoft’s WEPOS operating system, specifically designed by Microsoft for the retail market. WEPOS (Windows Embedded Point of Service) is a flexible operating system designed to seamlessly connect point of sale solutions with peripherals and other PCs. It also operates significantly faster than a “standard” operating system, as software modules you would not expect to be on a till are excluded.

For retailers with more than one shop or a web site, e-Trackit provides a “real time” updating environment, connecting such sales points as multiple shops, web sites, eBay shops and mail order “points of sale” together, giving the retailer immediate sales and stock information to help with the operation of the business, minimising stock levels and maximising sales.
