Setting up a web site is not as easy as some “packages” make out. We have customers of ours trying to do it on their own and many give up.

With e-Trackit, the hard work of designing and setting up a site is eliminated.

Start with the design.
We ask you about the look and feel you want from your site. Do you already have “corporate” colours you want to replicate in your business or particular colours you want to use. What about logos and wallpaper backgrounds.

What type of person or company are you targeting.

Search criteria you would like such as supplier, category, sizes and other attributes etc.

Other web sites you like or features you would like to incorporate.

From this information our graphic designers can provide you with two suggestions for your home page, with further suggestions for the next (or index page), moving onto the product page. If you don’t like these, we continue with design suggestions and refine these until you are sure the design is right for you.

The build
We then take these designs, and write the software which makes the site function, including all the shopping cart software and payment processing.

Whilst this is happening you will need to choose a domain name (if you have not done so already) and decide how payments are to be taken – Paypal and/or other payment provides like Sage. Remember it can take several weeks to set these up.

During this process we will also be working with you to set up some initial data on your e-Trackit office system, to check out the site, prior to going live – you will need to think about images and lengthier descriptions to describe the products in more detail.

At this stage we will need text for pages like “About us” and “Returns Policy”.

Going Live with e-Trackit
All this can come together within weeks of you saying “OK, let’s do it!” You will have an ecommerce store which, for many of our customers, takes more money than one of their shops – at a fraction of the cost.
