Established in 1985 Tessuti was born from a love of continental designer men's clothing which was limited in availability and coveted by those in the know. In the early days championing such brands asGeorgio Armani, Nino Cerruti and Gianni Versace.
The Trackit Epos system with all the associated office software was first installed in 2003, with upgrades to "Touch" tills in 2008 across all their shops.
All Epos tills and Office computers use the "real time" operation of e-trackit to provide management with fully up to date information, particularly on sales as each day progresses.
The office system is extensively used to monitor the business, identify stock movements, and provide information on sales comparisons between sites, linked via a server to several multi user and remote PCs. All stock movements are controlled through the warehouse, supported by the e-Trackit replenishment module.
In 2008, a new web site was linked to e-Trackit, which has been highly successful, and again, dependant on the ability to be fed "live" stock level updates from all the shops. Out of hours sales are logged through to designated shops, so that items can be "reserved" for sales made on the web, for example at weekends when the despatch operation is closed.
