Munster Rugby and Trackit have been working together for the past 8 years, and are effectively a sports retailer with three retail outlets in Cork, Limerick and at their stadium in Limerick, as well as an online store.
The retail operation started 8 years ago in 2003 and before installing e-trackit there was no visibility within the business of the amount of stock they held at any one time and they relied solely on their quarterly and annual stock checks to keep any semblance of control.Munster Rugby knew that in order to grow they needed an Epos system. Having been involved in other retail system installations previously, they were aware of how painful the process could be but describes the experience of installing the e-trackit system as both painless and seamless.
Now that they have installed e-trackit, life is a lot easier. At any particular point they can check stock levels , sales and margins in any of the stores. This is right down to the level of identifying best and worst sellers and enables them to move stock from one location to another or reduce stock levels in the case of poor sellers.
In addition to the tenfold increase in Munster Rugby’s sales in the time that they have been using e-trackit, their profitability has increased by a whopping 20%.The relationship with e-trackit has been so successful: "As we grow, our relationship with e-trackit will grow." They are currently in discussion with e-trackit about integrating their online store with their offline business to effect even greater efficiencies.
